Indian River

Name my heart like an indian river. Name it sweet, don’t name it bitter. Name my heart like the Loxahatchee. Fill up my blood with what you fancy.

Bring me down, bring me down, bring me down where the redfish prowl. Bring me down, bring me down, bring me out to the ocean’s mouth.

Pin me up like Japanese sunflower.
Bring me down like an evenin’ rain shower. Give me good eyes and heart to love. ~ The Grecian Urns

IF YOU HAVEN’T BEEN TO ANNA MARIA ISLAND FOR A SUNSET YOU HAVEN’T LIVED.  SINCE I WAS A BOY MY FAMILY HAS BEEN RETURNING TO THIS GORGEOUS AREA FOR VACATIONS AND FAMILY REUNIONS.  NOT ONLY IS IT EXTREMELY LAID-BACK, BUT THERE IS A FEELING OF “OLD FLORIDA” ONE DOES NOT GET THE FEEL FOR IN PLACES LIKE PINELLAS COUNTY.  THE QUAINT FEELING COMES MAINLY FROM BUILDING MORARTORIUMS.    THIS MEANS BUILDING HIGH-RISES IS NOT ALLOWED.   IF YOU’VE BEEN TO CLEARWATER SAND KEY YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
AS SUMMER BEGINS TO WIND DOWN NOW IS AN IDEAL TIME TO GO AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.

Sometimes, even if you and your Realtor do everything right, the seller may still reject your Offer. Bear in mind that this often has nothing to do with you.

With that being said, here are 5 common reasons why sellers reject Offers on their homes:

1. The Offer wasn’t enough for them to pay off their mortgage. For most sellers, the bottom line is paying off their mortgage. If your Offer isn’t enough to cover the mortgage, they cannot accept it unless they and their bank agree to a short sale. Many sellers have not quite gotten to the point of accepting the possibility of short selling their property. continue reading…
